WaMI Social Hour

Sunday, February 11 from Noon to 2pm @ Kerrytown Market

We are putting on our first event! Come to WaMI social hour and meet fellow urbanists from around Washtenaw county. This social hour will be in the historical Kerrytown market in Ann Arbor, with ample options for snacks and beverages. We will be located near the 4th Ave side of the building at the tables outside of Spun and Modern Vintage.

Kerrytown is a brief walk from the Blake Transit Center and bike parking is available if you want to explore alternative mobility options. If you need to drive to get into Ann Arbor, there are many park and ride locations throughout the city so we don’t contribute to car traffic congestion downtown. We aim to do this event at different locations around Washtenaw County. Let us know where we should have our next one!

Organizing Meeting

Monday February 19 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm @ AADL Pittsfield

Come down to AADL Pittsfield for our first ever organizing meeting. This meeting will mainly be focused on outlining our mission, our priorities, and our strategy. Additionally it will be a great time to answer questions.

AADL Pittsfield is a gorgeous modern building that’s a quick turn off Scio Church Rd just as you leave Ann Arbor. It fully accessible via walking, biking, and bus. Bike parking is available. It is serviced by the 25, 26, 27, and 29 bus lines.
