A fresh approach to regional activism

Less talking and more feet on the ground. Lets engage and activate the local community.

Community Outreach

We engage with vulnerable communities that are rightfully skeptical of the local government’s ability to account for their needs. These communities are frequently left out of discussions that affect their built environment. We aim to address this by reaching out to and conversing directly with those communities through canvassing door-to-door, aboard buses, and at transit hubs. Our only goal is to inform people of what is going on in their community and understand their stories.

Direct Action

We take direct action to address pressing issues and failures in local urban planning.

  • Tactical Urbanism: Working with at least the tactic permission of the local government to install quick-build and pilot projects.
  • Guerilla Urbanism: Working outside the bounds of what is “allowed” to install signage, bollards or line stripping to both attempt to make the location safer, but also to get the attention of the local community and government.

Collaboration

We want to be the unifying force that brings local activists, organizations, governments, and stakeholders together to create a common vision and collaborate towards our shared goals.
